BKAI Data, AI Limitations & Acceptable Use

1. What BKAI is

BKAI is an AI-generated thought-leadership companion informed by approved BEEKAY GLOBAL material and configured to support reflection on leadership, governance, education, theological formation, Pentecostalism, AI, e-learning and ministry. It is not Prof. Bernard Kimani personally participating in real time and is not an official decision-maker for BEEKAY GLOBAL, NPBC, PEFA or any other institution.

2. How a question is processed

Your browser sends the current question and, when continuing a conversation, up to ten recent messages. BKAI selects relevant BEEKAY GLOBAL sources and sends that context to OpenAI’s API for safety checking and response generation. The response-generation request uses store: false, disabling application-state storage for that response.

BEEKAY GLOBAL does not save prompt or answer text in its customer database. It records per-account usage metadata needed to administer allowances and credits, including question counts, input/output character and token totals, model used, dates and credit balances. Optional feedback records the rating and provider response identifier against the relevant account. OpenAI states that API inputs and outputs are not used for training by default unless the API customer opts in. Separate abuse-monitoring logs may retain content for up to 30 days, or longer where OpenAI is legally required to retain it.

3. Information you must not submit

• Passwords, PINs, payment-card data, identity-document numbers or authentication secrets.
• Confidential student, employee, counselling, confession, prayer-request, safeguarding, disciplinary, medical or legal records.
• Personal data about another person unless you have a lawful basis and have minimised or anonymised it.
• Unpublished institutional, board, examination, research or commercially sensitive material that you are not authorised to disclose.

Use a fictional or anonymised scenario when seeking general guidance. If an issue requires confidential judgement, involve the appropriate human professional or authority.

4. AI limitations

• BKAI may produce inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, biased or fabricated statements even when its wording sounds confident.
• Displayed BEEKAY GLOBAL sources are relevant context, not proof that every sentence in the answer appears in those sources.
• BKAI cannot know every fact about your institution, relationship, jurisdiction, health, finances or pastoral situation.
• AI output should be tested against primary sources, current law or policy, professional expertise, Scripture and accountable human judgement as the situation requires.

5. High-stakes and emergency use

BKAI does not provide legal, medical, mental-health, financial, safeguarding or emergency services, and it must not make admissions, disciplinary decisions, employment decisions, grades, clinical decisions or official pastoral determinations. Do not delay urgent help while waiting for BKAI.

For immediate danger, abuse, self-harm, medical crisis or suspected crime, contact the appropriate emergency service, safeguarding lead, qualified professional or lawful authority. For consequential institutional decisions, verify facts and retain an accountable human decision-maker.

6. Acceptable use

Use BKAI for lawful learning, reflection, planning, drafting, critique and exploration within your own authority. Be transparent where AI assistance is material to academic, professional, ministry or public work. Check citations and claims before reuse, respect copyright and privacy, and remain personally responsible for decisions and published output.

7. Prohibited use

• Illegal activity, fraud, deception, impersonation, harassment, exploitation, discrimination or evasion of lawful safeguards.
• Malware, credential theft, security attacks, automated abuse, extraction of hidden instructions, private data or system secrets.
• Sexual exploitation, abuse of minors, targeted violence, self-harm assistance or instructions designed to cause serious harm.
• Fabricating scholarship, testimonies, prophecies, citations, credentials, endorsements or official positions.
• Replacing required human review in education, employment, finance, health, safeguarding, law, governance or pastoral care.
• Commercialising prayer, prophecy, healing, anointing or access to God, or manipulating fear, grief or spiritual vulnerability for payment.

8. Usage limits and paid credits

Active paid access includes the question allowance shown in BKAI. A reserved question is released when the provider fails before completing an answer. Optional top-ups require an active membership, are one-time purchases, do not extend the membership, do not renew and expire 30 days after confirmed payment even if membership lapses before then. Limits may be adjusted prospectively for safety, quality and sustainability; an already-purchased credit pack will retain its stated quantity and validity unless a lawful security response requires suspension.

9. Safety controls, review and suspension

Questions are subject to automated safety checking, size limits and rate limits. Access may be refused or suspended for unsafe, unlawful, abusive or security-threatening use. An automated refusal is not a moral judgement about the user and may be wrong. You may reframe a legitimate educational question or contact BEEKAY GLOBAL for human review of an account restriction.

BKAI uses innovative technology and may encounter sensitive personal data even though users are instructed not to submit it. Its operation therefore requires documented data-protection impact and cross-border transfer assessments. This public policy describes user-facing controls; it is not an ODPC registration, approval or external certification.

10. Your content and responsibility

You retain whatever rights you lawfully hold in your question. You give BEEKAY GLOBAL and its service providers only the limited permission needed to process it, generate the response, protect the service and comply with law. You are responsible for having the right to submit the material and for reviewing any output before relying on or publishing it.

11. Privacy and support

The BEEKAY GLOBAL Privacy Policy provides the fuller data notice and rights process. For a privacy concern, unsafe answer, suspected account misuse or request for human review, email support@drbeekayglobal.com with the account email and a concise description. Do not forward confidential prompt content unless it is necessary and safe to do so.
